When is a good time to BUY a home?

Many of my close friends and family, knowing that I am in real estate, always ask me at all the family parties “when is a good time to buy a home?” My answer is always the same……NOW! It is not because I am a salesman and I want their business, it is because I truly believe that now is the best time to buy real estate and let me explain why. One reason why now is the time to buy is because interest rates are at an all-time low. Many people don’t understand why this is such a big deal but it is a big deal. Another reason why now is a great time to buy is it is a buyer’s market which means that the pricing of a home is under market value so all the buyers are paying less than what the property is worth.
